PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Funded by Roy Hill Iron Ore in partnership with Main Roads WA, who is managing the design, procurement and maintenance elements of the initiative. The project involves the construction of a new bridge over the Roy Hill rail line in Port Hedland WA 6721. It comprises of a 95-metre-long reinforced concrete box culvert structure magnificently supplied by Dallcon. This structure was raised up to improve the drainage system and to reduce road closures due to flooding.

Georgiou has been selected by Main Roads WA to deliver the Roy Hill Bridge Project, valued at $18.66 million. The construction commenced in August 2018 and was completed in February 2019 with approximately 65 employees onboard.
